Privacy Policy - Banho

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Banho ("the app") works offline and stores your recipes, development history, notes and settings only on your device.

Recipe and history data

Your recipes, development logs, notes and settings are stored on your device. There is no app account or sign-up. We do not receive the content of your recipes or history.

Advertising and data used by Google

The free version includes Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device or app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, other app interactions, crash logs and performance information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, diagnose problems, and improve its advertising services. This information may be shared with Google and its advertising partners. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's iOS data disclosure.

On first launch, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before any ad loads. If you allow it, Apple shares the advertising identifier (IDFA) and ads may be personalized; if you decline, ads are limited/non-personalized. Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland also see Google's consent form (UMP) to choose how their data is used for ads. You can change either choice later in iOS Settings. Paid Pro users do not see ads in the app.

Purchases

The optional Banho Pro one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment information.

Support form

If you use this website's support form, we receive the email address, subject and message you provide. Web3Forms processes these requests and keeps submissions on its servers for 30 days under this form's configured retention setting. The form uses hCaptcha to help prevent spam. These providers may process technical information such as IP address and browser details for security and delivery. Our support inbox may retain the correspondence while needed to handle your request; the 30-day setting applies to Web3Forms submissions, not the entire support email exchange. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive information.

Provider policies: Web3Forms and hCaptcha. To ask about your information, use the support form.
